Since its inception in 1965, the Scotch Of St James nightclub in London has consistently maintained its position as a cutting-edge and fashionable establishment. Following a temporary closure in the 1980s, the venue underwent a meticulous restoration in 2012, blending 1960s elements with a contemporary touch to honour its heritage and distinctive style.

Hidden behind an unassuming door in Mason’s Yard, the Scotch Of St. James offers an intimate and exclusive ambience. However, don’t let its unassuming exterior fool you. Inside, you’ll find a fully stocked bar, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, and a lively crowd of London’s most stylish individuals. The ground floor exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, ideal for unwinding, sipping drinks, and immersing yourself in the venue’s rich history displayed on the walls.

It’s in the basement that the club truly comes to life. Its industrial aesthetics provide a raw and minimalist backdrop known among music enthusiasts as the perfect space for exceptional live acoustics. The infectious rhythms fill the air, accommodating a variety of music genres, including rock, pop, performances by world-class DJs, and hip-hop.

As a sanctuary for celebrity musicians spanning various genres, the Scotch Of St James boasts an illustrious reputation. It served as Jimi Hendrix’s inaugural UK performance venue and welcomed iconic acts such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. The club operates on the following days and hours: Thursday to Saturday, from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM. It is crucial to dress impeccably. Strictly avoid sportswear, jeans, or distressed attire, and instead, opt for smart casual clothing to guarantee entry.

Table Prices:

At Scotch, two tables are available: The Standard and The VIP. For mixed groups, the former has a minimum spend of £1000 for groups of up to 10 people, while the latter has a £1500 minimum for groups of up to 10 guests.

Dress Code:

The Scotch maintains a smart casual dress code. Sportswear, jeans, distressed clothing, and beachwear are strictly prohibited.
